Hospice concentrates on keeping patients free of pain so they can enjoy the time that remains.
Hospice care usually takes place at home, in a retirement community, in a nursing facility, or in assisted living. It allows a person living with a terminal illness to keep control of daily life and to spend that time with meaning.
Our hospice program is designed to provide comfort, dignity, and peace. We focus on making each day meaningful by addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of both patients and their families.
The Hospice Team
Care is coordinated around the patient and family. Nurses on our staff are educated in both home health and hospice care, and communication with the family is a primary focus.
